Raises Money For Local Nonprofit

Boca Raton, FL– October 20th, 2017 – Seeman Holtz Private Client Group is proud to be a part of helping to raise money for The Mental Health Association of the Palm Beach County, Inc., and has raised over $1,300 to date from a silent auction thus far. More than 50 guests attended the “Latin Pep Event,” a fundraiser that was held on October 12, 2017, at Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton, FL. The event featured a silent auction, drinks, hors d’ oeuvres, a junior and adult salsa performance, as well as artist David Banegas painting on demand. Mr. Banegas also donated 2 paintings to the silent auction one of which sold. Sponsored by PURE Insurance, Artlantic- Fernando Martinez, Artist David Banegas, and Fred Astaire Dance Studio, this festive event also featured a live master class by Fred Astaire Dance Studio Boca Raton as they danced the Salsa and got the crowd moving. This event was just the beginning of the philanthropic partnership between SHPCG and MHA. Efforts will continue with more upcoming events throughout the year.

Latin Pep was a fun way to create awareness to serious topic that inspired many people to donate to The Mental Health Association of the Palm Beach County. The association’s mission is to promote mental health and victory over mental illnesses and related disorders through education, prevention, advocacy, research and empowerment. They believe every person should have access to quality, integrated behavioral health care, every child is assessed for behavioral health problems and receives preventive treatment; every doctor understands the connection between mind and body and uses this understanding to improve treatment outcomes, and; every policymaker knows that spending on behavioral health services improves overall community health.
